2. The good size
Find Your Perfect Helmet Fit!
Choosing the right helmet size is crucial for safety and comfort. To measure your head circumference accurately, wrap a flexible measuring tape around your head, about 2 cm (1 inch) above your eyebrows, passing just above your ears. Ensure the tape is snug but not too tight, then check your measurement and refer to our size guide.
Your helmet should fit securely… neither too tight nor too loose, to provide maximum protection in case of impact!
3. Settings
When trying on a helmet, it’s crucial to ensure it’s the right size for optimal protection. To check if a helmet fits properly, start by adjusting the chinstrap. The strap should be snug but not too tight. A simple rule to follow is that you should be able to slide one finger between the strap and your chin. This ensures the chinstrap is correctly adjusted: it holds the helmet in place without cutting off circulation or causing discomfort.
Also, make sure the helmet stays secure when you move your head. If the helmet shifts too much, it’s likely too big. If you can’t fit a finger under the chinstrap, it’s too tight and could become uncomfortable during extended use. A proper fit ensures both effective protection and comfort.
Wiplash pad
La whiplash pad is not an option; it’s directly integrated into our helmets for a very important reason:
to provide extra protection against impact-related injuries.
This pad is designed to absorb shocks, particularly around the whiplash area,
which can occur when you’re launched into the air and then land in the water with the force of hitting a wall.
This technology helps reduce the risk of cervical trauma by absorbing some of the energy from the fall.
It not only protects the head but also the neck, an area that is especially vulnerable during a sudden, harsh impact.
With this integrated protection, you can focus on your performance with peace of mind.
